Eight Below
A really really great show about dog and man. Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster ride wacthing this show. You will experience just every bit of emotion, from parting grieve to unending helplessness to reunion joy to ... Well there's more. Just that I can't translate them to words now.
It's amazing to see those huskies surviving for 100 over days under adverse condition. Is it just pure survival instinct or is it the promise made that make them go on. Well if it's just survival instinct then I guess Old Jack would have make it through as well. It's really sad to see him just give up like that, waiting to die. Is he thinking that he have been abandoned or does he not want to drag his team down? Either way, it's just sad to see him that way. Sometime a lot of us are like Old Jack, giving up ourselves even though there are people around that still care. Most of the time, our enemy are but ourself. Guess evething will be ok if we tell ourself that it's ok.
Maya and Max. The main lead dogs in the show. Seeing what they did for each other just make me feel all the more.....(what's the words for mixed emotion). Unconditional giving from both side, longing for Max's return to the herd, fighting it out with the leopard seal to save Maya, giving the sea gull to then injured Maya, not wanting the seagull. It's really really good to see them both survived. Thought Maya was really going to die at the end. All thankz to Max, Jerry was able to find Maya.
How true is it about the show I don't know. But all I can say is that it's a nicely done movie. Definitely a must watch.
